So if you’re anything like me, every once in a while you’ll think to yourself, “I can survive zombies. How hard can it possibly be?” And then you watch this Resident Evil and are quickly reminded that you’re not all that special.
This movie is everything you’d hate about actually being in a zombie apocalypse yourself, but everything you’d love to see in a zombie apocalypse movie. Genuinely scary, and almost just as funny, I was shitting my pants the entire time and loving every minute of it.
Be wary of a film adaptation of your favorite video game, unless it’s made by Zach Cregger. Believe in Zach Cregger.
